CLUB CENTRE-BOARD RACES
Races for centreboard yachta weEe conduetea by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club and .the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Club on Saturday afternoon. There was a northerly breeze, which freshened as the racing progressed, catching many boats over-canvassed.
The Royal Port Nicholson race was for combined eentreboarders and was won by Toroa. Results, showing handicaps, actual sailing times and corrected times, are as follows:— Toroa (Tmin),~lb 32m ss, lh 25m ss, I; Manon (Bmin), lh 39m ss. 1 ft aim ss. 2r Elaine (6 mm), lh 39m 20s, lh 33m 20s, 3; Eileen Cscr), 4. Aloha and Fay did not finish.
At Evans- Bay there were two. races, one for Ron a boats, won by Louie* and one for Takapunas,, woq by NufcuffiaL Results:—
