♦■ Australian currants and sultanas for November shipments show no change in prices. Colombo cablegrams show a rise in desiccated coconut this week by 6s per cwt. New season's dates are reported shipped from the' Persian Gulf for transhipment to New Zealand, but no confirmation has been received. Rises in the prices for tapiocas are reported this week by cable from Penang. Sago flour is up by 18s a ton; seed tapioca, 11s 8d; medium pearl, 13s 4d. Nutmegs are reported as stable in price. Australian canned fruits are available in fair supply, but licences to import are said to be exhausted. Tartanc acid and cream of tartar from Australia are now unobtainble, although they are available from . the United States, subject to licences to import. Singapore canned pineapple quotations show no change this week.
