OPENING DAY'S PROSPECTS
The Gore Racing Club's Spring Meeting, which opens tomorrow and concludes on Monday, has at times given a direct clue to the result of the New Zealand Cup and Stewards' Handicap and so interest will be taken in the form of horses with Riccarton engagements. The win-and-place system of betting will operate, and the following horses will be supported:— Mandeville Highweight — Araboa, Craiglea, Atua Rere. Gordon Hack Handicap—Royal Lancer, Southern Sail.
