UNA GOLD MINE SUBSIDY.
Advice has been received from the Mines Department by Una Hill Consolidated Gold Mines, Limited, Thames, that a further subsidy of £300 to the company has been approved by Cabinet. The total of Government grants is now £2000, the latest amount being to assist the company in consolidating its position at the new low level. The latest crushing return to October'lß reports a total of 11 loads treated at the Thames School of Mines for a yield of 14ioz of bullion, valued at £102. '
