FORMER FAMOUS SWIMMER
(Received October 22, 1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Mr. F, J. E. Beaurepaire has been elected Lord Mayor of Melbourne.
Mr. Beaurepaire, who is 49 years old, is one of the most famous swimmers Australia has produced and held at various times eight world records for long distances.
