NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. itfOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at -^ a Special Meeting of the Wellington City .Council held on Wednesday, the 16th October, 1940, the following resolution was passed: — The Wellington City Council hereby makes by special order the following Bylaw under and by virtue of and in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by the Finance Act 1931 (No. 2) and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and its Amendments and of. all other Acts powers and authorities enabling it in that'behalf. . The short title of this Bylaw is "The Wellington City Consolidated Bylaw Amendment No. 24 (Building) 1940." The object or purport of. the Bylaw is as follows: — To regulate and control the erection and use of buildings in the City of Wellington -and specially in relation to the following:— 1. Building permits. 2. General design and construction. 3. Basic loads and , stress to be used in design. 4. Reinforced and plain concrete construction. 5. Panel walls in framed structures. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on Wednesday, the 13th November, 1940, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Stf-getrnVelTinglori'."'"
