NEW NELSON COLLEGE

FOUNDATION-STONE LAID

(By Telegraph—Press Association.* NELSON, October 21. The foundation-stone of the new Nelson College was laid by the GovernorGeneral, Lord Galway, who congratulated the college on securing such a fine building to replace that made unusable by the 1929 earthquake. The Minister of Education represented the : Government, other speakers being Mr. jC. R. Fell, chairman of the Board of I Governors. Mr. H. V. Searle, principal, and Mr. H. Atmore. M.P.
