CHRISTCHURCH BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 21. Mr. A. E. Caddick has been appointed i headmaster of the Christchurch Boys' jHigh School, succeeding Mr. G. J. Lancaster, who will retire at the end of the year. Mr. Caddick was educated at Mount

Cook School, Wellington, at Wellington College, and at Victoria University College. He took his Master of Arts Degree at Victoria University College with honours in English and German. His teaching experience began in 1906, when he was appointed to a position at the Clyde Quay School, Wellington. He was later on the staff of the Kilbirn;e School and of the Newtown School in 1912. He became a master at Wellington College, and in 1927 was appointed senior English master at Christchurch Boys' High School. In 1936 he took charge as headmaster at Christchurch West High School.
