ANCIENT SPEAR PAYS FINE
Unable to pay a fine for not having a light on his aged car, a poor man presented to District Justice Gleeson, of Clare, Ireland, an ancient Roman bronze spear head which he had found on his farm. Justice Gleeson paid the fine for the man and sent the rare relic to the National Museum.
