GAELIC CLUB

The monthly Ceilidh of the Gaelic Club, held recently in the Allen Street Hall, was well attended. A programme of Highland items included Gaelic songs by Mrs. H. McWhinr.de and Messrs. H. Mac Lean and A. MacGougan, the seann triubhais and Highland fling danced by Master R. MacLeod, and pipe selections and dance music were played by Messrs. Hendersor.- MacKenzie, and Young. Mrs. H. McWhinnie and Messrs. G. Gunn and P. Ross (violins) played the accompaniments. Supper was provided by the ladies' committee, convened by Mrs. J. MacArthur.
