Interest musically centres in the Royal Wellington Choral Union's rendition of Coleridge Taylor's "Hiawatha," which is to be performed at the Town Hall on Satux'day evening next under the direction of Mr.. Stanley Oliver. In addition to the first and second parts of "Hiawatha," the society will produce by special request "The Delightsome Land," a composition by Mr, Stanley Oliver, together with "It Comes from the Misty Ages," from Elgar's "Banner of St. George." The soloists will be: Soprano. Mrs. Chrissie Barton, of Timaru; tenor, Mr. Harold Prescott, of Greymouth; and baritone, Mr. Ernest Short, Dunedin. The box plan opens at the D.I.C. at 9 tomorrow morning.
