' j Miss Molly McTamney has arrived from England, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. R. H. Rawlinson, Seatoun. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mercer, Wellington, are visiting Christchurch. Mrs. Mercer is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Neil Bowman, Fendaltbn. Mrs. W. I. Collett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Nicol, Gisborne, has returned to Gisborne from England, bringing her seven-months-old daughter. Her husband, Squadron Leader Collett, of the Royal Air Force, was killed in air operations against the enemy early in August.
