TWO ILL TREATED
REPORT FROM CONSUL
LONDON, October 1
Reuters Bucharest correspondent says that the British Consul tonight visited the five Britishers who have been detained and who are still in custody. He reported that the Rumanian authorities now admit that two of the five have been ill treated. The British people, he said, had stated that the aggression had been committed by civilians. Their treatment by the police had- been good.
