FLOWERS WANTED FOR "STREET DAY"

It was stated at a recent meeting of the Brooklyn Patriotic Committee that the Metropolitan Patriotic Committee had written asking for the assistance of the Brooklyn committee in collecting funds. It is proposed to hold a street day on October 11. This collection will be rather unique in that fresh flowers made up into buttonholes will be sold. Mrs. Cracknell was appointed to take charge of the Brooklyn district. Gifts of flowers will be welcomed and can be left at the committee's receiving depot, Tills Corner.
