WEST COAST DREDGING

GREYMOUTH, October 1
West Coast dredging operations have been proceeding normally since Sunday. Cessation of work then was not a strike, the union president, Mr. J. Laing, explained. The issue related only to repair work done on Sundays under an understanding with employers, and there was no interference with normal dredging.
