CANADIAN SALMON.

The position of new season's Canadian salmon is still .uncertain. No recent quotations for salmon of any kind are available, and the import restrictions have reduced stocks in the Dominion. It is reported from Vancouver that practically all sockeye salmon iir the coming season will be taken by the British Government.

Wunderlich, Limited, Sydney, has advised the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand that a half-yearly interim dividend of 4 per cent, on ordinary shares and 3& per cent, on all three classes of preference shares will be paid on October 24.
