FINANCING OF WAR

EMPLOYERS' AND WORKERS'

COLLABORATION

LONDON, September 29,

The general council of the Trades Union Congress and representatives of the employers, meeting in Britain, have prepared a five-point programme regarding the problem of financing the war. These points aim at avoiding substantial increases in prices and also make reference to wages rates. The Government is urged to continue its price control policy and the people are urged to save to the utmost. Unreasonable profits are condemned. The annual report says: "The Trade Union movement is now in the forefront of a battle which -will determine the course of history."
