"Brunswick." —The Derby in which a suffragette ran out in front of the horses and caused a serious smash was not Minoru's but the sensational contest in which Craganour was disqualified in favour of Aboyeur. Near Tattenham Corner that year (1913) a woman with a suffragette flag round her waist dashed out under the rails and seized the King's horse, Anmer, bringing it down and fatally injuring herself. The name of the woman was Miss Elizabeth Davison, a Bachelor of Arts of the London University and several times imprisoned for suffragette outrages. "S.H." There was no third dividend. "jg."
