HOCKEY ON SKATES
In the return skate hockey match for the Sanford Cup, played in Auckland recently, Wellington scored an easy win over Auckland by 9 goals to 3. Goals were scored for the winners by Mac Donald and Reade (four each) and Moir, and by Cunningham, Froggart. and Sanford for Auckland. Teams for the match were:—Auckland: R. Hedley, P. Sanford (captain), L. Cunningham, T. Froggart, and L. Scanlan; emergenc3 r, G. Richardson. Wellington: J. Manson, G. Manson (captain), A. Reade, K. Mac Donald, and A. Moir; emergency, S. Manson. The match was refereed by Mr. W. H. Stevens, of Wellington.
