PERSONAL NOTES
Mrs. F. H. Ordish, Canberra, whose husband, Lieutenant F. H. Ordish, is serving abroad with the A.1.F., has returned to New Zealand, and is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Woodward, Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McKay, who have been staying at Karehana Bay, Plimmerton, have returned to Tinakori Road, Wellington. The Yen. Archdeacon H. W. Monaghan and Mrs. Monaghan, Timaru, have been advised by cable that their daughter, Miss Marjorie Monaghan, who left Timaru some time ago for England to be trained as a missionary, has left for China, where she will take up her duties. Mrs. C. G. Sunderland, New Plymouth, accompanied by her daughter, Ruth, is staying in Wellington to attend the Weir—Sunderland wedding today. Miss Helen Black, chief lady physical welfare officer of the Department of Internal Affairs, is visiting Dunedin. Mrs. R. Newlands, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Whelch, Akaroa, left for Wellington yesterday. Mrs. W. R. Skinner, Opawa, Christchurch, is 'visiting her daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Shipton, Brooklyn. Mrs. J. A. Lee and Mrs. R. D. Donaldson are Wellington visitors to Auckland. Mrs. C. G. Macindoe, Remuera, who has been visiting Christchurch and Wellington, has returned to Auckland.
