It was officially announced in Hanoi that the French forces with-j drew from Langson while the Japanese were carrying out an en-| circling movement with superior numbers. The French Foreign Ministry announced that Major-General Nishihara, the head of the Japanese mission, negotiated for the termination of Japanese aggression at Dong!
