TOWN SHAKEN
EXPLOSION IN U.S. FACTORY

NEW YORK. September 25
An explosion which occurred at the works of the Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Corporation shook the town of Clairton. The plant was engaged in manufacturing solvents for use bj7 dv Pont de Nemours and Co., the great explosive firm. All available fire fighters were summoned. Six employees were injured. The flames are under control.
