CONTROL BY THE REICH

LONDON, September 25.

The Reich Commissar in Norway announced that a council of nine will take over the government of Norway .instead of the present administrative council. The existing political parties have apparently given offence by being too pro-British.

In the course of his,speech the Reich Commissar announced that King Haakon would no longer be recognised as chief of the Norwegian State and that Parliament had been dissolved.

By special arrangement Reuters' world serrlce in addition to other special sources of information is used in the compilation of the overseas Intelligence published in this issue, and all rights therein in Australia and New Zealand are reserved.
