TO SAVE THE BUSH
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —In support of "Scenic Lover's" letter in the "Evening Post" last Saturday, I desire also to express the hope that the Wellington Beautifying Society will be able to save the lovely stretch of bush in the Akatarawa Valley. New Zealand's beautiful forest, with its own peculiar song birds, which make our scenery unique, is disappearing only too fast and I would like to see this piece of bush, which is not far from Wellington, preserved for posterity to see and admire. If money is needed for the purpose of saving it I am another willing to give my utmost. —I am, etc.,
BUSHITE,
