UNWITTING DISCLOSURES
Reputable business firms have, unwittingly, disclosed important information to the enemy in catalogues, leaflets, and publicity matter, mailed abroad, says the Australian Department of Information. Generally the information contained in this matter is .of no value to the enemy, but occasionally details of important processes, improvements to machines, sketch maps of localities, and similar matter which might greatly assist the forces against which w» I are fighting have been included. Australian firms have been warned, to use the utmost care in the preparation of their catalogues and publicity matter so that no information that might be helpful to the enemy shall b« included. • ' '- ■■
