MOTOR ASSOCIATIONS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. "The automobile associations give the most valuable service to their members and many of their activities benefit all motorists," said the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Allum, when welcoming delegates to the North Island Motor Union Conference. He said that the membership of the eight associations in the North Island had increased from 31,590 in 1935 to 73,862 in 1940.
