ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

The semi-final games in the Auld Memorial Cup competition will be the principal Association football games in Wellington tomorrow afternoon. The meeting of Waterside, the Chatham Cup winners, and Swifts, at the Basin Reserve should produce some of the best football of the season. Waterside are determined to achieve the triple honour of winning Chatham Cup, Auld Cup, and senior championship in the present season, and much will depend upon the result of tomorrow's match, which will count for the championship also. Swifts are one of the few Wellington teams capable of extending Waterside, and have already beaten them once this season, by 4 goals to 3. Petone will meet Marist in the other semi-final, at Petone.
