RUMANIA BLAMED

HUNGARY'S VERSION

ATTACK ON AIRPORT DENIED

(Received August 29, 2.15 p.m.)

LONDON, August 28

The Hungarian Foreign* Office denies that a Hungarian bomber attacked Sutmar airport. It states: "Five Rumanian planes from Sutmar crossed the Hungarian frontier,, evidently to take photographs. Two of our machines took off and forced back the Rumanian planes. One Hungarian plane was forced down on Rumanian soil during the pursuit owing to engine trouble."
