In the Wellington amateur billiards B grade championship, Key (Paramount) beat Franks (Jewish Social Club) 250-201, and Higginson (P. and T Social and Literary Club) beat Robinson (Ideal), 250-227. Play in both games was keen, with the RobinsonHigginson game producing the best breaks and the more exciting finish. Best breaks were: By Higginson, 23, 38, and 30 (unfinished); by Robinson, 28, 20 and 27. Tonight's games are: Br'yce (Central) v. Johnson (Working Men's Club), at 7 o'clock, and Jenkins (St. George) v, Lye (G.P.O. Pastimes), at 8 o'clock. A junior challenge match, V.M.C.A. and Jewish v. G.P.O. Pastimes, is to be played tonight.
