NORTHLAND TRAMS
The new tram service to Northland was severely' criticised at last night's meeting of the Northland Progressive Association, held in St. Anne's Hall, and over which Mr. James Mason presided. It was decided to press for an improvement. It was reported that an alteration was to be made to the bus service to enable theatre patrons to arrive home earlier.
The hearing of the New Zealand gold mines employees' dispute by the Court of Arbitration ended at 12.3.0 p.m. on its sixth day today. The decision of the Court was reserved.
