BOMBS IN EIRE

AT LEAST TEN DROPPED

LONDON, August 27,

A Dublin message states that at least 10 bombs were dropped in Wexford. Many houses were damaged and numbers of people were injured by glass and splinters. Spectators thought the plane was making a forced landing when a bomb suddenly fell. The manager of the creamery said that some members of his staff watched the plane, which appeared to be foreign. One of the girls who was killed was found sitting at the table with a knife and fork in her hands. Four bombs fell there. One which failed to explode bore German markings. Another smashed a pipeline to the creamery, another damaged a railway siding, and the fourth fell near a hotel.
