The Minister of Supply, Mi:. Herbert Morrison, in stating that thea national domestic salvage campaign "had made a very good start, announce) :l that the value of the salvage for July was a little over £300,000, with some returns still to come. The figure forl June was £200,000. The average valufe per 1000 of population was about £7 for July.
