ADDITION TO MACARTHY BUILDING
A decision has been made to extend the new building erected for the T. G. Macarthy estate (for lease to the Government), at the corner of Tory Street and Holland Street, over the whole of the block. The addition, which will cover an area of approximately 50 feet by 60 feet, will be a reinforced concrete building, four storeys in height, in conformity with the structure on the corner of the block, now almpst completed. The extension will cost about £11,000. The building, designed by Mr. Francis H. Swan, will be erected, by the contractor of the first building, Mr. James Murray.
