HENRY BERRY RECOVERY.
Henry Berry and Co. (Australasia), Ltd., report a profit for the year, inclusive of that earned by the New Zealand subsidiary, of £27,500 after providing £23,000 for taxation. This compares with a profit of £445 in the year before. Payment of dividend on "A" and "B" preference shares of 10.4 d a share, absorbing £21,033, is recommended. After this payment accrued dividend outstanding on the preference capital at June 30, 1940, will be Is a share. During the year the company disposed of its share interest in Aurora Packing Co. Pty., Ltd., but rej tains a financial interest in that company.
