A NOVEL TROPHY

The Wellington Rowing Association last night received a handsome and unusual trophy for competition at interclub regattas in the youths' class. Mounted on a wooden base covered oy a sheet of stainless steel is a chromiumplated scale model of a four-oared racing boat, perfect in every detail. The trophy, which was presented To the association by Mr. Keith Jonassen, its maker, will, in accordance with his wish, be known as the Palamountain Plate, in memory of the late Mr, R. A. Palamountain, a former well-known supporter of the sport in Wellington. It will be held by the club with the best, aggregate in the youths' fours over the three inter-club regattas.
