NORWAY'S FOOD SUPPLY
LONDON, August 24. The Berlin news agency says the Norwegian Minister of Supply reports that essential supples for Norway "may be considered completely secure and satisfactory. The country is assured of a two-year supply of fat and there is a potato crop surplus. Contrary to British reports, fewer animals have been killed since the occupation than in the corresponding period last year. A mixture of potato and a liquid extracted from seaweed is replacing the formerly imported cattle fodder."
