Golden Dawn Gold Mines mine manager reports for week ending August 17: Have had men employed putting in large bucketway down winze -and making' landing platform. Work completed down to drive, and will be shortly completed to bottom of winze. New River return of gold for week ended August 22 was 28oz from 10,900 yards treated in 117 hours' dredging, time. White's Electric return of gold for I the week ended August 22 was 30oz from 11,400 yards treated in 134 hours' dredging time.
