COMETS AND METEORS.

A subject of interest to everybody will be discussed at tonight's astronomical lecture in the lecture hall of the Central Library, when Mr. M. Geddes, of the Carter Observatory, will talk about comets and meteors. The nature and habits of these celestial visitors will be described, and a number of excellent lantern slides will be utilised to illustrate the lecturer's remarks.
