RETURNING HOME

(From "The Post's" Representative.) LONDON, July. 15.

Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Hall, Wellington, have left for New Zealand with their daughter, Miss Cara Hall, the talented 16-year-old pianist who has been studying at the Royal Academy of Music.

The period of war strain has made life particularly difficult for students of the arts. The authorities at the Royal Academy of Music quite realise the position and they have been very sympathetic, while it has been arranged for the Associated Board Scholarship to be held over until after the war, when Mrs. and Miss Hall hope to return to London. Arrangements to leave were hastily made, everything having to be done in five days.

Mrs. Hall is taking charge of two grandchildren of Sir Percy and Lady Sargood. They are the son and daughter of Major I. L. H. Mackillop, E.E., and Mrs. Mackillop (formerly Huia Sargood).

Bulletins received from Egypt regarding the health of Mr. Stanley Hall, who is with the anti-tank battery, have caused his parents considerable anxiety.
