On the third raid the bombers attacked the aerodrome and the harbour and again bombed the objectives attacked by the first raiders. French pilots and crews again reconnoitred in the Diredawa area. ITALIANS ADMIT LOSS OF SUBMARINE. An Italian communique states: "In East Africa our squadrons bombed Erkowit and the Sudan airports of Summit and Haiya, where a large hangar was burned and the railroad branch at Haiya hit. In Kenya a concentration of motor units was bombed south of Wajir. During fighting at Dobel the enemy left 64 dead, including three officers, before retiring. The standard of the Sixth Battalion of the King's African Rifles was captured. "The port of Zeila in Somaliland was effectively bombed. One of our planes has not returned.
