0.8. E. FOR DUKE'S SON
LONDON, August 3. Viscount Mandeville, son of the Duke of Manchester, was awarded the 0.8. E. for outstanding courage and enterprise when a bomb exploded aboard one of his Majesty's ships. Lord Mandeville is back at sea after retiring from the Royal Navy in 1930 with the rank of lieutenant-commander.
