ABSORPTION OF BESSARABIA

MOSCOW, August 2,
Parliament has established a new Federal Soviet Republic of Moldavia, incorporating the Rumanian-speaking districts of Bessarabia, and has authorised the incorporation of other Bessarabian districts and North Bukovina into the Ukrainian Soviet Republic.
