KING'S SPEECH IN RIKSDAG

STOCKHOLM, August 2,
King Gustav, in a speech at the opening of an extraordinary session of the Riksdag, said:
"I am firmly determined to maintain friendly relations on all sides, t will not relax my efforts to keep the country out of the war, while preserving our liberty and independence."
