WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
—. ♦ The meaning of the word "Gospel" is "good news" or "glad tidings," and the Scriptures reveal that the "good news" preached by Jesus Christ when He preached the Gospel related to the Kingdom of God. This was the "good news" of Christ's second coming to set up the Kingdom of God on earth, thereby bringing peace and untold blessings for "all families of the earth." The Gospel of Christ, therefore, presented the Divine remedy for the ills of the world and the glorious consummation of the unfolding purpose of God. Hence Jesus taught His disciples to pray "Thy Kingdom come," and that these words reveal what the Gospel of Christ really is will be demonstrated in the course of a lecture entitled "What is the Gospel?" to be given in the 1.0.0. F. Hall, Allen Street, tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock. Questions will be invited at the close of the lecture, particulars of which are advertised
