COMMERCIAL BANK OF SYDNEY

The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, Ltd., has advised the Stock Exchange Association that the balancesheet and accounts and-; the directors' report for presentation to shareholders on August 13 were issued on Thursday. The directors recommend a dividend at the rate of 7£ per cent, per annum for the past half-year. An interim dividend of 4 percent, was paid on January 26. This, with the final dividend of 3| per cent, now recommended, makes a total distribution for the year of 7| per cent., as qompared with' 7 per cent, last year.

A Press Association 'cable message from Sydney states that the bank shows increased profits for the year of £389,492 compared with £377,454 last year.
