TWO YEARS' GAOL
STOLE GOODS VALUED
AT £470
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day,
Having stolen goods valued at £470 in, the course of the last 18 months, Henry Herbert Pearce, aged 37, admitted 45 charges in the Magistrate's Court today. Pearce was sentenced to two years' gaol. The police said that vanloads of stolen goods discovered at Pearce's home included rifles, guns, jewellery, and electric motor, paint, petrol, surgical instruments, a typewriter,, and a sewing machine.
