DAMAGES CLAIM FAILS
A jury of twelve in the Supremy Court has found for the defendant in the case in which John Scholey, a turner and fitter, claimed £1500 general damages and £516 12s special damages from Bernard Charles Whitlow, a painter, for injuries suffer*/. when his motor-cycle collided with a motor-car on the Esplanade, Petone, on • April 10, 1939. The Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) entered judgment accordingly.
Mr. O. C. Mazengarb appeared for* the plaintiff and Mr. G. G. G. Watibn, with him Mr. W. P. Shorland, for th« defendant.-
