WAR SERVICE

LEGISLATIVE OFFICER

Advice has been received from the Naval Secretary by Mr. G. F. Bothamley, Clerk Assistant of the House of Representatives, of his appointment as shipping identification officer at Wellington as from August 3.

Mr. Bothamley holds the rank of lieutenant-commander and served with the Royal Navy for three and a half years in the North Sea during the war of 1914-18. During his absence on war service his duties as Clerk Assistant will be taken over by Mr. H. N. Dollimore, Second Clerk Assistant.
