NEW WESTERN ACCESS

For the formal opening of the shorter tramway route to Karori and Northland tomorrow a special car will run from Bowen House to Karori at 2.30 o'clock. The official party will include the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop), members of the City Council, officers of the City Corporation, and representatives of the suburban progressive associations concerned. An address will be delivered by Mr. Hislop, and afternoon tea will be served. In view of the large attendance anticipated, the ladies of the district will be able to entertain only the official party at tea.
