CHANGES IN WALES
At the last meeting of the Welsh Society Mrs. Margaret Davies gave a talk on her recent trip to Wales. She said that she saw many changes in the sixteen years she had been absent. No longer were the Cardiff docks the hub of the world's coal export trade, nor were there the cheery miners' homes. Years of depression in these areas had left its mark. Yet the people faced the war conditions with bravery and confidence. There was only one issue, "Britain's victory.**
